In A New Video Message To PM Modi, BSF Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav Claims He’s Being Mentally Tortured
In January, Border Security Jawan Tej Bahadur Yadav created a ripple in the BSF’s management system through a set of videos wherein he reported that the Jawans are disregarded in terms of food and essentials. The videos had gone viral initiating debates about the state of comforts given to our soldiers.
Now again, Yadav is back with a new video!
In the new video, the BSF jawan alleges that his phone was taken away on January 10 and may have been tampered with to prove that he has “links” to Pakistan. However, BSF officials say that his phone was confiscated as part of the court of inquiry proceedings as an evidence.
He claimed that there are several reports being fielded against him and asked people not to believe in any false rumors about him until he comes up with his own video.
“I have got to know that my phone has been misused. I want to let the Prime Minister know that my video about poor quality food being given to soldiers was real… Now, I am being mentally tortured,” he says in the video.
The video was shot at a Jammu guest house when he met with his wife following a directive by the Delhi high court. The meeting had taken place in the third week of February.

Yadav had earlier uploaded a video claiming that food served to BSF personnel posted in the high reaches of Kashmir was of poor quality. The video had gone viral, causing much embarrassment to the force and the government.
Now, addressing Prime Minister Narendra Modi directly in the video, Yadav questioned whether he deserved justice or not. He has also appealed to PM Modi to come out in his support as he is being targeted for exposing corruption.
In the video reportedly released by his family, he can be heard saying that he exposed corruption in his department since the Prime Minister wanted to fight corruption.
“I appeal to all to ask the PM why I am being tortured,” he said.
He then appeals to all Indians to come out in his support and ask the Prime Minister if he actually wants to remove corruption from India. “I request all of you to ask the Prime Minister if this is what a jawan gets in return for exposing corruption?” he added.
