IGNOU Begins Japanese Language Course, Apply Before 15th August

On 23rd July, a Japanese language training centre was initiated at JNU (Jawahar Lal University). Today, the world’s largest University – Indira Gandhi National Open University flagged off Japanese language course. The programme is inaugurated with Self Learning Material (SLM) unified with audio-visual components and will be available at the respective regional centres.

The University follows eligibility criteria according to which, only those students can apply who have passed 12th standard or equivalent and 18 years old at least.

Important: Application for the newly formed programme can be submitted till 15th August.

In JNU, only 30 students will be taught under this integrated initiative of Governments of India and Japan. Knowledge of logos of various ministries that include Skill Development, Union Human Resource Development and Commerce among others has been included in the basic course of the programme. No fee will be charged for the first batch while fees will be decided later, as reported by Indian Express.

Shivaji Bhaskar, coordinator of the programme in IGNOU have asked aspirants to check the eligibility and then, apply for it.

Indira Gandhi National Open University is a distance learning national university which offers a number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses. IGNOU was established to serve distance and open education to the Indian Population. With the enrollment of over 4 million students, IGNOU is believed as the largest university in the world.

In the month of June, the University controller of examination has managed the Term End Examinations results of which, are expected to be announced by the mid-week of August. For each academic session, the University holds two terms exams of which are conducted in December and June. Every year, lakhs of contenders fill examination forms to appear for these TEE tests. Those who have appeared for the examination will be able to get their results from the official website www.ignou.ac.in.
