Teachers Jobs News Today – 9,000 Guest Teachers Recruitment in New Delhi Schools – In a recent meeting with New Delhi’s Education Department, Indian Politician, Deputy Chief Minister (CM) and Education Minister of Delhi and one who holds Finance, Planning, Tourism, Land & Building, Services, Women & Child, Art, Culture & Languages portfolios in the Government of NCT of Delhi said “By August 14, additional 9,000 guest teachers will join the schools which will ensure that all schools have teachers as per their requirement.”

In the meeting, Satyendar Jain, Minister of Health, Home, Power, PWD, Industries, & Urban Development, Govt of Delhi. MLA from Shakurbasti was also present. Talks in the meeting also directed towards the progress of infrastructure work in Delhi Government Schools and concluded with the note that three more schools will be built-up by September by Premier State Government authority in charge of public sector works – State Public Works Department. Earlier this month, on July 13, 2018, in the nearby state, Haryana Government decided to increase the salary of Guest Teachers. Ram Bilas Sharma, Education Minister of Haryana, confirmed 1 January 2017 salary for school lecturers as Rs. 29,715, for master as Rs. 24,001 and for JBT/ Drawing Teachers Rs. 21,715. Besides, he also agreed to raise their salary twice a year in the month of January and July. Thus, according to latest updates, Salary of JBT/ Drawing, Teacher and Master of School Lecturer would get Rs. 26,000, 30, 000 and Rs. 26,000 respectively.

An official statement about Guest Teachers Recruitment disclosed that “Today, taking a significant decision in the interest of thousands of working guest teachers, the chief minister has decided to increase their salary to Rs. 26,000, Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 36,000, respectively.”

According to previous norms, students of class 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th are asked to pay Rs. 20 per month as an educational fee in Delhi Government School. Whereas, no fees used to be there for students upto class 8. But now onwards, Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia have decided to waive off education fees for all students (upto class 12) in Government Schools of Delhi.
