BECIL Monitor Recruitment 2018-2019: 26 Vacant Posts, Last Date 12 November – Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited, Applications are invited from eligible candidates for monitoring work in different regional language television channels. Monitors are required to check/scrutinize/ examine the contents beamed by TV channels permitted for downlinking within the country form the programme and advertisement code stipulations and identify apparent violations if any. Selection would be based on skill test cum interview to be held at Bengaluru and/ or New Delhi. Selected candidates would be engaged on contract basis through BECIL in EMMC, New Delhi. Nature of work for Monitor – Monitoring the contents of the Television channels in India to check violations of up-linking and downlinking guidelines and programme and advertisement codes under the relevant provisions of cable television networks (regulation) Act 1995. Any other work relating to monitoring of contents of broadcasting sector assigned by the Government from time to time. The number of vacancies is tentative and is likely to change. Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/ she fulfils all the eligibility conditions mentioned against the vacant post. Proficiency in English is expected from candidates as work of monitors involves making reports in English.
