OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm has announced that its new OnePlus X Ceramic edition will go on sale starting January 8, i.e., today in India at select French connection outlets.  The OnePlus X Ceramic edition is the limited edition as the company has only manufactured 10,000 units of handsets. The company finally announced that the limited edition will be available for purchase in Indian stores for a limited period. A few select French Connection fashion outlets will start selling the OnePlus X Ceramic Edition smartphone commencing from 8 January.

Here comes the good news for the OnePlus lovers as the new Ceramic edition will be available for purchase without the annoying invite system. Certainly, the smartphones will be up for sale without an invite. If you have been trying hard to get your hands on one, now is the opportunity to just walk into any of the nearest French stores and purchase one directly!

The Ceramic Edition OnePlus X smartphone will be available in these preferred French Connection outlets, only till stocks last. The sale of the device starts at 7 PM today and the French Connection stores in the list include:

• Delhi (Select CityWalk Mall, Saket)
• Mumbai (Palladium Mall, Lower Parel)
• Hyderabad (Forum Mall, Kukatpally)

There is something more unexpected! OnePlus will also offer a 10 percent discount for the first fifty buyers of the OnePlus X Ceramic Edition and if you are one of them, you will also receive a goodie bag.

OnePlus X Ceramic Edition Specifications

The Chinese firm, OnePlus had announced two models of the OnePlus X smartphone namely onyx and ceramic earlier in the month of December 2015. While the glass variant is already available at a price of Rs 16,999, the Ceramic one will need you to pay additional Rs 6,000. The handset is exclusively available via the giant E-Commerce portal Amazon and you will need the special Ceramic invite to purchase it at Rs 22,999.

The OnePlus X Ceramic edition will feature a 5-inch AMOLED display that comes with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The handset is powered by Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor which is clocked at 2.3 GHz. The OnePlux handset will have 3 GB of RAM. On the Storage front, the handset includes an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.

On the camera front, the device comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. The camera of the smartphone features autofocus that allows users to capture a subject in just 0.2 seconds. It is a dual SIM smartphone which is power-packed by a 2525mAh battery. The OnePlus X ceramic edition will run Oxygen OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system.
