Considered as an inspiring name for the bikers across the nation and globe, Bharadwaj Dayana  made his way apart from others. He was determined to go around the world on his bike making himself unequalled with the rest of men who rarely dare to do so. Bharadwaj Dayala was someone who never even travelled on his motorbike away from his hometown Vishakhapatnam while made up his mind to travel across the world.

He is the only amazing Indian who dreamed of something and turned that up into a reality. Bharadwaja Dayala aged 44 years travelled  across the world in a horizontal line to make his lifelong dream to reality going places with his own funds for about one and half years. Hailing from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Bharadwaj Dayala is the only Indian who had achieved this feat of travelling across the world on an Indian made bike.

Sources add that he is only Indian who had completed world tour on a solo bike ride that too on Indian bike which hardly meets the needs conditions of world roadways. Bharadwaj Dayala travelled across the globe on Hero Karizma, an Indian-made bike without the taking aid of any sponsors to meet his expenses to rule the itineraries around the world.

Made His Dream Real and Emerged as First Indian to Travel the World on Single Bike

Though the dream was free of cost while the expenses would cost oneself a fortune, while Bharadwaj Dayala worked for a decade to cover the costs after being ignored by many companies who didn’t dare to sponsor claiming it as too ambitious project due to incredulity in it.

The world tour Bharadwaj Dayala was flagged off from Hyderabad by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy in April 2006 from where he took flight with his bike to Tehran, Iran. Kicking off his never ending journey on international roads he rode about 47000 km in a span of 18 months travelling through Iran, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Greece, Italy, France, United Kingdom, Canada, the US, Australia, Indonesia and Bangladesh.

Returning back home on October 2, 2007, after one and half months safely Mr. Dayala proved that passion can nullify all difficulties and adversities in this world. Post his world tour, this well-known adventurer, sailor, club pilot and trekker is currently doing filmmaking, script writing and screenplay and simultaneously runs his foundation ‘Vande Mataram’ – a group of hardcore bikers who intend to travel across the nation education people on various issues such as road safety, using the right to vote in elections and many other concerning social issues.
