13-Year-Old Boy Who Was Kidnapped In 2016 Rescued By The Police In Jaipur

New Delhi News: A 13-year-old boy who was kidnapped in 2016 from Delhi, was rescued by the police in Jaipur.

On November 11, 2016, a missing complaint was registered for the 13-year-old boy, the family members of the boy said that he had been missing, the incident happened in the Shahbad Diary Area of Delhi.

ACP (Additional Commissioner of Police) Rajiv Ranjan said that the boy wanted to become a wrestler and was staying at Sir Chhotu Ram Akhada for 11 months in the Shahbad Diary Area.

ACP Rajiv added that the police also announced a reward of Rs. 25,000 for the boy, his case was transferred to the crime branch of Delhi on 3 April 2019.

Just after one day, officials from the crime branch traced the boy in Jaipur, he was rescued on April 5, 2019, from Kanti Nagar, Jaipur.

22-year-old Dinesh was arrested by the police for kidnapping the minor, he is a resident of Firozpur Banger, Sonipat.

When the police interrogated Dinesh, he revealed that he was asked to leave his training grounds by his coach for a misconduct he committed at the Akhada (Wrestling Grounds).

22-year-old Dinesh added that he was fascinated by how the young boy played wrestling at the Akhada. When he was asked to leave the grounds, he convinced the minor to leave with him.

He said that they traveled to Rajasthan and Haryana before they settled in Jaipur.
