A job in Google is what everyone can even dream of. Considered as World’s best company to work and ultimately leading techie giant, being an employee in Google can be a final big ultimate goal which almost induces the feeling “On the top of everything”.

Only a handful of graduates and other fine people can make it up to Google, statistics has it all. Merely, an estimated three digits of Indians play key roles in Google office, in prominent positions.

Tables have turned, to everyone’s surprise, maybe for the very first time, a 16-year-old teenager from Chandigarh clinched an exclusive job in millions’ dream firm ‘Google’.

Harshit Sharma, who recently completed his Class 12 from the Government Model Senior Secondary School in Sector 33, in 2017, will be joining the graphic designing team of Google. As per the sources, he will be leaving for the US in August of this year.

Coming to the details of his advent into this prestigious company, at first during the one-year training period, Harshat will receive a stipend of Rs 4 lakh per month. Post the training he will receive a staggering remuneration of Rs 12 lakh per month/ Rs 1.44 Crore package.

Harshit has humble beginnings, both his parents are teachers, and he hails from Mathana in Kurukshetra, Haryana.

“I kept searching for jobs online, I applied for this job in May and was interviewed online. I have been interested in graphic designing for the past 10 years. I was selected on the basis of the posters I designed,” said Harshit who chose information in class 12.

Another side of the story: 

Contrary to the hype this story has earned, the official sources from the Google gave a shocking statement on the boy’s candidacy, when asked about this, they told a prominent media channel, “Currently, we don’t have any information on our records with respect to Harshit Sharma’s candidacy.”

These surprising statements from google have literally messed up the whole situation, now it appears that the boy might have been misled regarding the job offer, further details are yet to be revealed.
