24-year-old Charlotte Dubard, from London, suddenly had cravings for sugar, gained around a stone, and did not know she was pregnant until she started to suffer severe cramps in her stomach.

The 24-year-old woman did not know she was pregnant until she gave birth inside their home, the boyfriend of the woman even accused her of “Finding the baby in the street”.

Charlotte used her phone and took a video of her genital and was shocked when she saw the baby’s hair sprouting out.

The 24-year-old woman gave birth to Elias, a healthy baby boy.

She added, “When Miguel came home, he screamed ‘Oh my god you found a baby in the street’!”

She continued, “I started bawling and said ‘This is ours’.”

Elias and her mum were both rushed to the hospital and were put in the intensive care unit to make sure that both of them were ok.

Charlotte said: “It was only once we got to the hospital that I really registered what had happened. I was so traumatized from the birth I had barely registered Elias at all. But then when we were waiting for the doctor, Miguel said ‘Look he has your nose’ and that’s when I suddenly realized he was ours.”

Charlotte, who works as a waitress said that she is lucky to have a healthy baby boy even after she was smoking, drinking, and working 14 hours every day throughout the pregnancy.

Charlotte also said that she took contraceptive pills while she was pregnant and even had periods for 9 months.

She said, “I call him my miracle baby because he is so healthy after all I put him through. Also, so many things could have gone wrong with me giving birth alone but it all went remarkably smoothly.”

Nurses at the hospital explained how badly it could have ended for the mother and the baby.

The mother said, “The midwives even asked me how I knew where to cut the umbilical cord because if I had done it wrong it could have been so dangerous. I have no idea how I knew exactly what to do, I guess instinct took over.”

The 24-year-old baffled mother did not even tell her mum that she gave birth.

Charlotte said, “I actually didn’t tell my mum right away because she was working and I knew she wouldn’t be able to finish her shift if I told her. I waited until the next day and she was so shocked. But my family has been so supportive. They’re very strict Catholics and they see Elias as a miracle. My grandmother says he is a little angel.”

Charlotte and her boyfriend planned to move to the USA, but since she gave birth, they have postponed their plan and have decided to stay in London.
