Brianne Altice, a 39-year-old Teacher was sent to jail for sleeping with 3 teenage students while she was teaching at the Davis High School located in Kaysville, Utah.

The 39-year-old teacher has offered an emotional apology while she was at her parole hearing, she added that she committed those crimes because she was suffering from low self-esteem.

During her parole hearing, Brianne Altice said, “I am accountable for this. I did this. And with that knowledge comes growth. I apologize for the role I was supposed to play in their life and I know I didn’t. Now it’s part of their history they can’t erase.”

In 2015 the teacher was sentenced to serve 2 years to 20 years in jail for her crimes, which includes having a sexual relationship with one of the teenagers even after she was on bail.

This is Brianne’s second attempt to convince the parole board to grant her release from the prison, she was first denied in 2017.

During the hearing, she was presented with a letter that was written by one of her victims, for a while she refused to give a response to it.

But after some time, she said, “I don’t want to justify, I don’t want to undermine any of his dealing or his experience. I think he has a right to state all this very eloquently.”

If Brianne is released from prison, she claims that there is a full-time job waiting for her.

Brianne also works with a group called Canines With a Cause, a group in prison that helps pair up with military veterans with dogs that are left in the shelter cares.

Many believe that Brianne could be released from jail really soon. But, if she would serve her entire sentence, she will be behind the bars until 2045.

Brianne also promised that she will see a therapist if she is released from prison.

The 5 person board of parole which is headed by Utah Pardon and Angela Micklos, a parole board member, is expected to make a decision on Brianne’s future within the next 3 weeks.
