Police Report: A 6-year-old girl was raped in a village located in Bhubaneswar, the minor passed away inside the hospital while she was having her treatment.

Officials said that the man took the 6-year-old girl to his home to rape her and strangled her afterward.

The villagers found the minor inside the house while she was unconscious and was rushed to a hospital in the city.

The minor passed away in the hospital, the villagers beat up the man and handed him over to the local police.

The mother of the minor knew that her daughter went to the house of the man, but when her daughter did not return home, she decided to go the man’s house, but the man refused to open the door, the mother gathered the villagers who broke the door.

After the 6-year-old passed away, the villagers protested in front of the police station and demanded strict action to be taken against the man.

The police have launched a probe for the incident.
