65-Year-Old Man Allegedly Commits Suicide By Jumping In Front Of A Moving Train At The Ramesh Nagar Metro Station
Police Report: On Wednesday, a 65-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train at the Ramesh Nagar Metro Station.
On Wednesday afternoon, the 65-year-old man jumped in front of a moving train at the Ramesh Nagar Metro Station, officials said that the incident happened at the Platform Number 1 of the metro station.
DCP Mohammed Ali said, “A man, aged around 65, jumped on the tracks of a metro train around 11:57 am at platform no 1 of the station. He was hit by the moving train, suffering injuries. He is dead.”
The police are currently trying to identify the 65-year-old man.
Officials of the Delhi Metro said that the train was on its way to Vaishali when the incident happened, they had to temporarily delay its services.
Recently, an ASI from the Delhi Police committed suicide by jumping in front of a train at the Jahangirpuri Metro Station.
