Actor-screenwriter Kader Khan passes away

Kader Khan a legendary Bollywood Actor and Screenwriter passed away at the age of 81 on December 31 due to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy an extremely rare degenerative brain disease, this is a degenerative disease that eventually causes dementia, loss of balance and difficulty in walking.

Kader Khan’s son Sarfaraz broke the news to the media, “Yes, my dad has left us this morning. He was unwell from last few months and in the hospital from last few days. We tried everything we could, but it was time. He was a very loving man and he loved everyone who was a part of his life.” He said.

Kader Khans son Sarfaraz also added “The last rites will be performed here in Canada only. We have our entire family here and we live here so we are doing it.”

Kader Khan acted in more than 300 movies in India, he also wrote dialogues for 250 movies. Kader Khan has been a part of blockbuster hits like Judaai, Judwaa, Khoon Bhari Maang, Biwi Ho To Aisi, and Main Khiladi Tu Anari.

In a span of 45 years, Kader Khan’s career really took off in the 1990s when he collaborated with Govinda and David Dhawan. These three where the reason why we have blockbuster movies like Hero No. 1, Dulhe Rajan, Saajan Chale Sasural, Coolie No. 1, and Haseena Maan Jayegi. Also, Kadher Khan has worked with renowned directors like Prakash Mehra and Manmohan Desai.
