Afghanistan: Gunmen Attacked Education Building In Jalalabad

On Wednesday, In the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad, Gunman entered in a government building of the education department and attacked. According to the officer, In the open firing in Jalalabad, at least 10 people were killed.
As per the Nangarhar provincial governor’s spokesperson Attaullah Khogyani, In the attack, five people were injured and many employees of the education department, in the provincial capital of Nangarhar were trapped in the building.
As per the report, this news is justified by the Jalalabad Health Director Najibullah Kamawal and he confirmed that in this attack, five people were Injured, and has been hospitalized for the treatment.

“So far, 10 bodies have been recovered and taken to local hospitals,” Attaullah Khogyani, spokesperson for the Nangarhar provincial governor, said in a statement. “Ten people have also been wounded.”

This is noticed that it is the third major attack in Jalalabad in less than two weeks and the second one in as many days.

On Tuesday, there were killed at least 12 people in a suicide bombing in the Jalalabad. As per the Government officials, ‘near a petrol pump suicide bomber detonated explosives setting ablaze eight cars and damaging the petrol bunk and responsibility for the attack has been claimed by the Islamic State claimed.
To- recall, On July 1, In an explosion, 19 people were killed in which most of the people had been from the Sikh minority group.

In the capital of Nangarhar province, Jalalabad, Many attacks currently as armed rebels step up activity in the anxious region. Both ISIL and the Taliban are active in the area.

According to Shafiq Hamdam, security expert and the former adviser to NATO forces, ISIL is “most likely” behind Wednesday’s attack.
