Lok Sabha elections are going to held in 2019 so all the political leaders have become very active and have started visiting in several states as well. it is also focused on political leaders that what best they can come up with to grab attention from the vote banks.
With respect to this, BJP chief Amit Shah has arrived in Kerala on 3rd July to accomplish the goal for 2019 Loksabha Elections and prepare the party for the upcoming 2019 elections. Amit Shah has visited in Kerala with a purpose to make the strategy of the upcoming elections that are going to be held in 2019, April-May. BJP National President Amit Shah’s visit to Kerala was a one day trip with the main focus of the party’s chief was on the strategical planning and preparation for the general elections that are going to be held in 2019.

As according to a report, In Kerala, a meeting with party’s state core committee was attended by Amit Shah and during his visit to Kerala, Amit Shah addressed the leaders from selected districts about his BJP party’s strategic planning for the 2019 elections.
Besides this Amit Shah met some renowned faces of the state and during this meeting, Shah also talked to several other leaders and told them about what changes and achievements they have come up with Modi government as of now and also had a conversation with leaders from Lakshwadeep.

The position of BJP chief in Kerala is vacant for more than a month. however, at the end of the May Kummanam Rajasekharan has been appointed as the Governor of Mizoram since there has not been appointed a new BJP chief so during this meeting Mr. Shah had also discussed it and took a decision regarding the appointment of Kerala’s new BJP chief.

As BJP’s popularity is increasing day by day in every other state, still, it is trying to leave a mark in southern states as well but has tasted only a little bit of success due to the past influence of CPI(M)-led Left Front and Congress-headed United Democratic Front in the state.
However, during 2016 Assembly polls, there was a noticeable increase in party’s vote share which was from 6 per cent to 14 per cent and that was the first time when BJP won a seat during the elections and former union minister O Rajagopal is the single BJP member in the assembly after they won a seat in the election.
