Anand Mahindra Silently Trolled NY Times Article Saying “Deep Breathing Is Good For Health”

Chairman and Managing Director of the Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra is the rather unexpected Twitter badass everyone needs to follow. He is the one who takes on completely with his full passion and swagger to give befitting replies.

Recently, the famous publication The New York times shared a story on its timeline titled ‘Why Deep Breathing May Keep Us Calm’ with the trailblazing caption: ‘Scientists may have uncovered for the first time why taking deep breaths can be so calming’.

Well, if you are thinking that it’s some amazing fact or something which we Indians never knew, you are utterly wrong as they, for the first ever time, have discovered that deep breathing is good for health. And guess what, they didn’t carry out this research on humans but did it on mice.

Yes, you heard it right!

WHO To Certify Ayurveda & Yoga

This act by scientists of Stanford University popped out many eyes from the Indians. As per reports, it took them a lot of time, money and mice to uncover the health benefits of deep breathing which we call “PRANAYAMA” in India.

Taking a dig at this, Anand Mahindra, a business tycoon, couldn’t stop himself from trolling NYT and its misleading headline “for the first time”.

Here’s his tweet:

As soon as his tweet came, Indians on the micro-blogging site openly thrashed NYT and Stanford University scientists for making this claim! Here are few selected tweets,
