4 people died and 11 were hospitalized on Sunday after they mistakenly consumed a toxic liquid which they thought was alcohol on Sunday, this incident took place in Gajuwaka, Andhra Pradesh.

The local police said that all of the men were scrap vendors who saw a plastic can that contained the toxic liquid in a yard after they thought it was alcohol they drank it and got sick.

K Bhaskar the District Collector, excise officials, and police officers went to visit the 11 people who are admitted in a hospital. 3 of the men are currently in a critical stage.

The toxic liquid that was consumed has been sent for an examination to see what it really is.
