Andhra University Junior Research Fellow Recruitment 2018: Jobs Today -Centre for Studies on the Bay of Bengal, Director, Andhra University has recently confirmed that applications are invited for the junior research fellowship – 1, in the DST – NRDMS project entitled “Development of the framework for networking programme on Village information system (VIS)” Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Candidates satisfying the under mentioned qualifications may apply along with their bio-data and attested copies of certificates/ testimonials to prof P. Rama Rao, PI, DST – NRDMS project C/O centre for studies on Bay of Bengal, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam – 530003 on or before 29th September 2018.
1st Class with Master of Science (Tech0/ M.Sc Geophysics/ Marine Geophysics/ Hydrology/ M.Tech in remote sensing/ Geo-Engineering/ Geo-Informatics or equivalent and qualified in NET JRF/ NET lectureship/ GATE. Experience in remote sensing data interpretation, handling GIS packages along with undertaking collection of data for village information is desirable as a part of required qualifications for JRF (one position). Rs. 30,000/- per month inclusive of HRA for the duration of the project upto 28th February 2019 will be emoluments for Junior Research Fellow (one position).
18th September 2018 dated Official Job Vacancy Recruitment Notification of Andhra University from Visakhapatnam having the last date of receipt of applications as 29th September 2018 and date of interview will be informed separately. Local Circular for Filling up of JRF Position in DST and for Display in AU website is scrutinized by the Director of Andhra University College of Science and Technology, Centre for Studies on the Bay of Bengal.
