Hyderabad: In a shocking case of road rage, a woman in Hyderabad was dragged by an auto driver for over 100 metres after she entered into an argument with him. The incident took place in broad daylight on Tuesday.

The woman had an argument with the driver after she was hit by the auto while standing on the road at Hyderguda in Attapur. As per reports, the woman asked the autro driver to not drive rash and slow down. The auto driver was angered by the woman’s comment and dragged her with the autorickshaw for more than 100 metres.

It was only when some passersby saw them and tried to stop the autorickshaw. While the woman released herself from the auto, reports say the auto driver ran away.

The entire incident was filmed by a passerby and the video, which went viral, is now the basis for the city police to identify the victim and trace the auto.

The police have registered a case and are on the lookout for the auto driver and the auto rickshaw. Both the rickshaw and the driver have not been identified yet. Reports say the auto had no registration number. Some reports also saw that there was a small kid inside the auto all through the incident.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital by onlookers after she received injuries on both her legs.
