Anupam Kher Tried To Make Fun Of Dr. Manmohan Singh & Got Slammed On Twitter!

On Thursday, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh criticized the Narendra Modi government over its surprise move to demonetise ₹500 and ₹1,000 currency notes. In uncharacteristically strong words, the mild-mannered Singh called demonetisation “organized loot and legalized plunder,” adding that it was a “monumental management failure.”

Since Dr. Manmohan Singh is a renowned economist, the 2-time Prime Minister, former finance minister and RBI governor, his views should have been appreciated. With so much knowledge in economy, Dr. Manmohan Singh is obviously the best person to judge demonetization.

But his words on demonetisation are being lauded on the Internet. Though he did not disagree with the objectives behind the decision, he remarked the GDP of the country could decline by 2 percentage-points due to the way it has been implemented.

However, his views received a lot of irking from Modi fans. Forget Modi supporters; even Anupam Kher trolled him. This was least expected from a matured actor like him, who is always known for his thoughtful opinions. God knows what made him troll Dr. Manmohan Singh. Anupam Kher took to Twitter and made fun of Manmohan Singh.

Have a look at his tweet:

He indirectly showed support for PM Modi, but how far do you think it was right on his part to take a dig at Dr. Singh? Twitterati didn’t spare Anupam and trolled him left and right!

See how Twitterati trolled Anupam Kher for his comments:

A real leader speaks when

If you were not too busy creating needless voice!

Don’t get threatened!

Chamchagiri!

In those 10 minutes!

How many days before you were informed?

MMS said truth!

Credentials can’t be compared!

Nothing inside and outside the head!

Common people are supporting Manmohan Singh, because they know the troubles they will have to face further, if demonetization continues. Whom do you support? Do share your views in our comments section below.
