BCCI Bans Warner From Visiting India And Supporting SRH

At the end of Day 3 of the third Test between Australia and South Africa, Australian captain Steve Smith and Cameron Bancroft admitted to tampering the ball during the day’s play. Bancroft used sand stuck to tape to alter the condition of the ball. Smith expressed that the leadership group of the team was well aware of the plan.

As a result, Steve Smith and David Warner were slapped with a one-year international ban, while Cameron Bancroft was suspended for nine months. David Warner and Steve Smith were also banned by BCCI and are not allowed to play in IPL.

However, Warner former captain of Sunrisers Hyderbad wanted to visit India and support his IPL franchise. He was seen commenting on Instagram live videos of Sunrisers Hyderabad. He said that he will come to India at some stage and support SRH.

But the decision of BCCI denying him to visit India disappointed both Warner and his fans.

A Twitter user named ‘Srujana Konakanchi’ shared an Instagram DM conversation with David’s wife Candice who told that BCCI has denied his request to visit India and support Sunrisers.

Her reply read :

“He was wanting to come over but unfortunately the BCCI have stopped him from coming over to watch. He will be back next year.”
In another message she said
Yes he is very disappointed as he wanted to support the team he loves.”
