Bihar: A 58-Year-Old Man Was Shot Dead In Purnea

Police Report: On Saturday, 58-year-old Hari Shankar Prasad was shot by unidentified men in the district of Purnea, Bihar. The police said that Hari was killed on the spot.

Police Officer Anand Kumar Pandey said that Hari Shankar Prasad was from the village of Madhiya in the district of Sitamarhi. He was working at a Head Post Office in Purnea.

Police Officer Pandey said that 2 shots were fired at Hari Shankar Prasad from a close range which caused his death.

He added that the incident took place when Hari Shankar Prasad was on his way to the post office.

The police recovered 3 cartridges and a bullet magazine from the crime scene.

Officer Pandey added that they think Hari Shankar Prasad was killed because of a property dispute.
