The Hollywood film ‘Annabelle: Creation’ has created quite a buzz all around the world, with many dubbing it to be the scariest movie they’ve seen so far. In a horrific situation, a young woman was hospitalized after becoming hysterical and punching herself in the face while watching the latest horror movie ‘Annabelle: Creation’ at a cinema theater.
The unnamed 20-year-old had visited the film in Teresina, north-east Brazil, for a late-night show. A video filmed on a mobile phone shows the woman lying on the floor of a shopping center outside the cinema, screaming and coughing uncontrollably.
Friends are seen trying to calm down the panic-struck woman, who reportedly started punching herself in the face as she left the cinema at around midnight on Friday. Emergency services reportedly were forced to use a wheelchair to remove the unidentified woman from the Shopping Teresina mall.
The woman has had been rushed to hospital in the city in Brazil’s northeastern state of Piaui after becoming hysterical. Well, this seems to hold quite a bit of truth if this recent video uploaded is anything to go by. In an audio message being shared with the video on social networking sites, another woman says she began acting strangely at the scariest moment of the film, about a doll which is possessed by the devil. She says:
“It was at the moment when the devil appeared. When the film ended, we went to pay the car park and she started hitting herself with punches to her own head and threw herself on the floor. Other people in the shopping center got together to try to control her, I became really scared.”
A member of staff at the shopping center told: “We haven’t managed to find out exactly what happened or what caused this behavior. “What we know is that she was really very nervous and couldn’t herself explain what had happened.”
