Three persons were killed and five others injured in a car accident in Vijayawada city. The incident happened around 3pm. The car fell from 8 feet height after hitting a railing near Benzcircle in Vijayawada.

Reports said a speeding car, carrying Pushkaraalu pilgrims and bearing the number AP 30 P 4789, dashed against road divider at Benz circle and turned upside down resulting in the tragedy. Watch the shocking video here.

Speeding Car Hits Divider in Vijayawada:

They were all returning to Srikakulam district after having holy dip at Durga Ghat for Krishna Pushkaraalu. As soon as the vehicle collapsed the doors were locked. Neighbours broke the glass to rescue the injured. The dead included one woman and a child. The rest of all moved to the hospital nearby.
