Police Report: A police constable was arrested after he raped his 6-year-old daughter inside their home on March 29, 2019. The incident happened in the district of Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.

A complaint was filed against the constable by his wife, the wife said that the constable raped their 6-year-old daughter inside their house on March 29, she added that he also threatened their kid not to share the incident with anyone.

But, after some time, the 6-year-old daughter shared the incident with her mother.

The police constable was posted at the Sarangarh Police Station in Raigarh District, he was arrested by the police on Tuesday.

The police constable was arrested under the Indian Penal Code Sections 506 (Criminal Intimidation) and 376 (Rape) and under the provisions of the POCSO (Protection of Children from Sexual Offences) Act.

The police constable was brought to a local court that remanded him in judicial custody for fourteen days.

Rajesh Agrawal, the Superintendent of the Raigarh Police suspended the Police Constable after he got to know about the incident.
