Shocking! In A Bizarre Incident Class 9 Student Jumped In Front Of A Train Just Because He Scored 9.1/10

Though the knowledge cannot be confined with just marks. But nowadays, for many schools in India, the definition of the term Quality education has changed completely from the wisdom of knowledge to gaining of top marks and a perfect score to their institution.

Yes, schools of the present era are merely concerned with marks and that’s why they sometimes put so much pressure on students that they are compelled to take serious steps which prove hazardous for not only them but also their families.

In a recent unfortunate incident which took place on Tuesday morning in Nellore’s Kavali, a bright student of 14 years named Dhamulluri Vinay studying in the 9th standard jumped in front of a train just because he was distressed, as he couldn’t score 10/10 grade points.

Vinay was a resident of Bitragunta village and his dead body was found on railway tracks. As per his family, he was brilliant in studies and used to get full marks in all subjects. It’s alleged by family members that management of his school (Geetanjali English Medium School) was pressurizing him for scoring 10 out of 10 and the poor boy couldn’t handle this pressure.

When the results were declared on Monday, he was quite upset as he got 9.1/10 grade points. This made him discontented and he was depressed all through the day. After the incident, Vinay’s parents are heartbroken. Here’s what his mother said,

He was a very good student. But the management put too much pressure and insisted on 10/10. This is not fair.

His body has been sent for postmortem and RPF cops have registered a case of unnatural death.
