CPCT Exam Date: MP Computer Proficiency Certificate Test On 27, 28 Oct – Application Forms online for MP CPCT were started to be filled online from 16th September 2018. And the last date for online registration of the same was 8th October 2018. Also, just keep in mind that, Board of the controller of examinations, Computer Proficiency Certification test has already clarified that on 27th and 28th October 2018, online computer based test will be held for all the candidates. The detailed syllabus of CPCT can be downloaded in the PDF format from the official website. While major topics to prepare from are – General Awareness, Mathematical and Reasoning Aptitude, Reading Comprehension, Proficiency in General IT Skills, Knowledge of Basic Computer Operations and Familiarity with Computer Systems. Now, these topics also have in-depth subtopics for example, Awareness of generic steps required for setting up a computer, booting and shutting down, logging on and off to a network, determining an IP address, verifying physical connectivity to a network, installing and updating software packages, disabling applications from running on start-up, uninstalling a software from computer, customising desktop background, resizing windows, volume controls of computer, setting up a new printer or webcam or scanner or other peripheral devices, understanding of steps to protect computers from power disturbances and basic troubleshooting including power backups are important sub-topics from 2nd topic.

The examination scheme or the format in which test will be held on CPCT Exam Date is mainly divided into two parts that are – Multiple Choice Questions or MCQs and Typing Test. From the pre-defined syllabus, total 75 questions will be asked by the Board and those 75 questions will have to be answered in 75 minutes only.
