Just after a day of the last date to apply online for CTET 2018 i.e. August 27, Board of Controller of Examination, Central Board of Secondary Education has depicted that written test date is finalised and CBSE has vowed to organise it in the second week of December 2018. The test will be conducted in twenty languages in 92 cities all over the country. He also told to check Important Dates, Exam Cities, Online Application Fees, Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria in the information bulletin of Central Board of Secondary Education, CTET online. Regarding extension in the last date to apply online, CBSE has not released any notice yet.

As of now, you all must be aware of the fact that the Central Teacher Eligibility Test does not guarantee any job. Rather, all those candidates who will score 60% or more in the examination will be considered as Teacher Eligibility Test passed. And, all the CBSE CTET 2018 passed candidates will be provided with a valid certificate or qualifying certificate which will be valid for seven years exact from the date of announcement of CTET 2018 Results.

Earlier, it was confirmed that Central Teacher Eligibility Test would be held online on 16th September 2018. Since Application Form filling procedure was too much delayed and is closed on 27th August, thus it was next to impossible to conduct the CTET on September 16, 2018.
