The most awaited movie, Dangal released yesterday and received a tremendous applause all over. Dangal is inspired from the life story of Mahavir Singh Phogat. The film features Aamir Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Geeta Phogat (played by Fatima Sana Shaikh) and Babita Kumari (played by Sanya Malhotra).

Aamir Khan film was expected to collect Rs 30 crore on the first day. With Dangal first day collection of Rs 29.78 crore, Aamir Khan-starrer has fuelled speculation of becoming the highest grosser at the box office this year. Continuing in full swing the movie will cross Rs. 100 Crores collection within first week itself.

Dangal Movie Second (2nd) Day Collections:

The film saw around over 75% occupancy during morning shows, which is terrific. Released on 4300 screens in India, Dangal is made on a budget of 70 crores. Dangal has collected Rs 29.78 crores on the first day. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh shared, “#Dangal wrestles demonetisation… Sets the BO on fire. The 2nd day collections of the movie are just WOWWWW! It collected 34.82 crores, bringing the total to 64.60 crores.

Dangal First Day Worldwide Collections:

Overall Dangal movie shaken the box office this weekend and running successfully towards 100 crore club within 3 days. The movie collected Rs 7.81 crore from US, Middle East, and the UK. given the positive word-of-mouth, the film is expected to do much better in the coming days. It has collected Rs 5.49 crore, Rs 4.62 Crore and Rs 1.22 crore in North America, Middle East, and Australia respectively.

Dangal’s first-day collection has ensured that the film is already among the top ten openers of all times. While Aamir’s best opener ever remains Dhoom 3 wth Rs 32.48 crore BO business, a good first weekend collection is being expected from Nitesh Tiwari film.
