Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt’s Dear Zindagi released worldwide last week and received a positive talk all over. Whole Bollywood industry and the movie makers are very happy with the Dear Zindagi result and now they are enjoying the success.

The film had opened with the collection of Rs 8.75 crore, which has only gone up thereafter. The demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes by the government didn’t have too much of an effect as the film is largely for the multiplex audience. Dear Zindagi First Weekend Collections:

The movie, that traces the journey of Alia Bhatt’s character Kaira through love, heartbreak, and life, has also received largely positive reviews. Alia Bhatt and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dear Zindagi showed a super growth on Sunday as well. In India, the film got only 1200 screens making it a much smaller release that a usual Shah Rukh Khan film.

The film has collected Rs 32.50 Cr in the opening weekend. The weekend collection from the overseas market (USA and Canada) also stands impressively at Rs 27.45 Cr.

The film opened at Rs 8.75 crore on Friday and showed a superb growth on Saturday to earn Rs 11.25 crore. The film collected Rs 12. 50 Cr on Sunday.

Dear Zindagi 1st Week / First Week / Opening Weekend Collections:

The film has beaten the record of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan and turned out to be the 3rd fastest $1 million grosser in 2016. For Alia Bhatt, this is likely to be 3rd or 4th Highest Weekend in her career behind 2 States, Humpty Sharma and at similar levels as Udta Punjab. The film is garnering huge appreciation on social media too. People are writing about how Dear Zindagi has affected them at a personal level.

Dear Zindagi beats the crucial Monday slump. The movie collected Rs. 4.25 Crores on Monday. The film has collected Rs 36.75 crore in four days, showing a strong growth. The Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt film also passed the crucial Monday test.

Dear Zindagi is also doing well in the overseas market.  Dear Zindagi has made it the top movie of the weekend. Worldwide and overseas are much better and likely to finish 3rd highest of 2016. The weekend collection from the overseas market (USA and Canada) is Rs 27.45 Crores.
