Delhi: Bus Conductor Commits Suicide After Being Harassed By Manager

Police Report: A 27-year-old bus conductor committed suicide by jumping in front of a train on Thursday, the police said that the man was harassed by his manager at the Khanjwala Cluster Bus Depot in New Delhi. The incident happened at the Ghewra Railway Crossing.

On Thursday, the dead body of 27-year-old Haridarshan was found on the railway tracks, Haridarshan attained severe injuries on his head. He was a resident of Nihal Vihar, New Delhi.

Haridarshan wrote a suicide note, in which he said that the manager of the Bus Depot harassed him on several instances and that’s why he is committing suicide.

An autopsy was done on the body of Haridarshan on Friday.

The family of Haridarshan said that he joined the department 3 years ago, they added that the manager forced him to achieve targets that were unrealistic.

The family also said that the manager of the depot threatened to fire him if he did not meet the targets that were given to him.
