RGV Slams Yogi Adityanath In A Series Of Tweets For Naming ‘Anti-Eve Teasing Squads As Romeo Squads’
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision on making Yogi Adityanath, the 21st Chief Minister of the densely Indian State, Uttar Pradesh has drawn in the leftist criticism from the various people, though he was largely supported in the home state.
From the very beginning, Yogi was broadly considered as the religious leader, rather than a secular protagonist. Putting aside the theories and statistics, however, Yogi ascended the throne of the Chief Minister of UP. Although there was stern opposition from few common parties, things went slim finally.
Yogi amended few rules that almost blew away the freedom of the few individuals, though some appeared meaningful and moral, the others were quite fascist. The idea of Anti-Romeo squads tops the charts, as it is quite literally a hypocritic one as far as liberalism is concerned.
The boldness of the prominent director Ram Gopal Varma is well known to the netizens already, he never stepped back in opening up about the issues that hurled the trending charts, similarily, RGV opened up on his opinion about the working idea of Romeo Squads, he literally bashed the ‘name of the groups’ in a series of tweets.
He stated that the term Anti-Romeo squads are implicating the character Romeo in a negative way and that must be checked out. He even gave his part of wits assuming that the Italians might name their anti-eve teasing groups as Krishna squads.

I am baffled with the name of Anti Romeo Squads…How can Romeo a revered lover be a synonym for a Eve teasing goon?

If in india he can call them Anti Romeo Squads will YogiAdityanath be ok if Italians call same groups in their country Anti Krishna Squads?
— Ram Gopal Varma (@RGVzoomin) April 4, 2017
In generalising all individuals by giving a single name Romeo, goal is to malign the owner of that name with an illogical nd malicious intent

Am sure the thought originated from the slang phrase Road side Romeo but it's irresponsible to use that word through a governmental diktat

The word Romeo is actually romanticising the wrong doers..A name like Anti Eve Teasers Squad would have been much more apt and pertinent
