Donald Trump Invited to as chief guest of 2019 Republic Day Celebrations
As per one of the source, an invitation of Trumps to be the Chief guest for next year Republic day has been sent to White house by India in April this year and India has started waiting for a response from the White House. It is expected that the invitation has been sent regarding with the many rounds of diplomatic engagement over the issues like US trade tariffs, India-Russia S-400 missile deal.
As per the report, Central Government of India is assuming that a waiver might be granted by India. It is also assumed by the government that, if Trump will accept this invitation, it will help reverse tide of latest criticism over external affairs and also giving it a chance to sell it as one of the largest foreign policies coups in recent years.
It is considered that, After pulling out the US from the Iran nuclear deal in May, the Trump administration brought back sanctions against Iran.
Apart from this, From 4th of November, It has been forced to India and other counties to cut down oil imports from the Gulf nation to “zero” by the United States.
