After the tiresome waiting of 17 years, this Indian woman has finally bagged the Miss World title and this certainly is a landmark achievement for India in 2017. The 20-Year-Old Haryanvi woman Manisha Chhillar has taken the mainstream media by storm by winning the prestigious and pivotal title all the way.

She has become the center of the spotlight within a fortnight. She undeniably is the topic of discussion in the whole country. She became the sixth woman from India. India won the title last in the year 2000 when Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra made a mark at the event.

This time, the event was held at Sanya City Arena, in China. Manushi was crowned by Stephanie Del Valle, Miss World 2016 from Puerto Rico. Manushi competed against 118 contestants who represented their nations.

Coming to the next steps of Manushi, she has already confirmed that she doesn’t want to step into Bollywood soon enough. But, she clearly has a name in her mind to collaborate with if she ever makes a foray into the film industry. The 21-year-old beauty pageant winner revealed she wants to work with “perfectionist” Aamir Khan if she ever made a decision to enter the film industry.

Amidst all this, it is the way she was received at the Mumbai Airport which is quite glorious. It is at the airport that a huge crowd has waited for her. Meanwhile, in the video, it is evident that the security measures taken to tackle such gathering were not perfect. She was surrounded by few policemen who acted as her bodyguards but they were outnumbered by the mob and media staff.

As it is expected, every fan present there wanted a selfie with her and media outlets were looking for a bite. It resulted in such a rush that her crown fell off from her head. On a brief note, it was a huge shame for everyone. She made India proud by winning that crown but couldn’t keep it on the head. She managed to remain graceful despite everything that has happened at the place.

Manushi managed to take selfies with as many fans as possible, she even gave brief interviews to the media outlets. She was seen waving to her fans and thanking them for coming to see her at the airport. But this incidence again shows how Indians refrain to give space to their celebrities. There could have been major security risks for her if things had gone wrong.

Well, it would have been better if some serious measures are taken to withstand the crowd, moreover, the number of people at the venue is far beyond anything that is expected.
