Five Swine Flu Cases Reported In Hyderabad

As the rainy season approached, even swine flu cases are also rising in Hyderabad. Five positive cases of swine flu
have been reported in Hyderabad in the last fortnight. Five cases have been reported since August 25, confirmed Dr.
Narasimhulu, a senior doctor at the State-run Mahatma Gandhi hospital. According to the state government, Over 70 people succumbed to swine flu last season.

Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas on Monday said three suspected Swine flu cases were reported in Visakhapatnam district. There are also few dengue cases in Kadapa and Nellore districts registered. Thus the health minister had said to the health officials to provide quality treatment at all hospitals in the State. He also said
we shall try to prevent spreading the disease to other people.
Action plan has also been prepared in coordination with the representatives of local bodies in rural and urban
areas. The minister also ordered the health officials to be alert in the areas that are prone to spread of seasonal
diseases. He said the government would come up with a plan to organise sanitation week in 1,400 government
hospitals. Thus, Swine Flu is rising day by day and the governments of both states are giving instructions to take
precautionary measures regarding Swine Flu.
