Flipkart will be holding the fifth edition of its ‘The Big Billion Days’ sale and dates for it have been announced by the company. The sale is for a period of 5 days and will began on October 10. The e-commerce platform will offer discounts and bundled offers in almost all popular product categories and this includes, mobiles, gadgets, large appliances and many more. The online e-marketplace has come up with a business tie-up with MasterCard this year to avail multiple payment options to its customers. But Flipkart is allowing early and an exclusive access to the Big Billion Days sale to its Plus Members this year. All its Plus Members will have access to the sale three hours earlier. Its arch-rival Amazon to has given a ray of hope that it too will hold similar festive season sale, but the announcement is yet to come along with dates.

The Big Billion Days sale will be made available in a well-phrased procedure as it was in previous sales. The first day of the 5-day sale will avail products ranging from fashion, appliances, furniture, smart devices, and many other product categories. The second day will cover deals related to smartphones and other electronics. The last three days will cover the sale of all kinds of products across all categories. Apart from the regular discount offers, Flipkart will also come up with host flash sales for every hour and new deals will be offered for every eight hours, the company said. The company will avail discounts of up to 80 percent on TVs and many other electronics while offering a total of 90 percent discount on home decor, fashion, and personal care products.

There is a range of payment options available for this festive season sale with Flipkart. The users of HDFC Bank debit and credit card will have access to bundled payment options during the sale period. Apart from that, the platform is also availing no-cost EMIs on select debit and credit cards. The users of the PhonePe app will have access to a number of cash back offers during the whole sale period.

All said about payment options, it would not be complete without letting you know that, this time, Flipkart has come up with a new offer of payment, that is, a cordless credit of up to Rs. 60,000 to all its customers which can be paid back in easy monthly installments. Customers will also get to use the facility of existing Flipkart Pay Later payment option that allows them to buy now and pay the amount later in the next month. During the sale, Flipkart will avail offer discounts on travel and mobile recharges for Android users during the sale.
