There are few major topics and minor topics in this subject according to GATE 2019 New Syllabus. For example, for major topic Regression Analysis, minor topics are – Simple and multiple linear regression, polynomial regression, estimation, confidence intervals and testing for regression coefficients, Partial and Multiple correlation coefficients etc. Similary, other major topics are Design of Experiments, Multivariate Analysis, Inference, Stochastic Process, Probability, Linear Algebra and Calculus.

Best possible advice for GATE 2019 Application Form filling candidates is to avoid the last minute rush and make sure to register online as soon as possible because GATE Application Form 2019 will only be available for 22 days. Until last year, GATE appearing candidates had to choose any out of 23 subjects. But now, from this year onwards, following an addition of one subject i.e. Statistics, appearing applicants will have to select one out of 24 subjects. Thereafter by selecting the subject in accordance with your preference, degree qualification has to be opted out for.

In accordance with an official website, GATE 2019 Examination will be held on four different days i.e. 2nd February 2019, 3rd February 2019, 9th February 2019 and 10th February 2019. Besides, the online test will be conducted in two shifts i.e. forenoon: 09:30 AM to 12:30 Noon and Afternoon shift from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM.

Indian Institute of Technology, Madras is expected to make the announcement of the Results in the Online Application Portal on 16th March 2019, Saturday. And, on 4th January 2019, Friday, Admit Card will be available in the Online Application Portal (for printing). Here on Friday only, 16th November 2018 is the last date for requesting a change of examination city (an additional fee will be applicable).
