HD Kumaraswamy Got Emotional said, ”I’m Like Shiva Who Drank Poison”:

On Saturday, HD Kumaraswamy who has taken charge as the Chief Minister of the Karnataka broke down at a meeting of his party, the Janata Dal-Secular and he said that he was not a happy man and compared himself to Lord Shiva, who drank poison to save the world during the meeting.
It is also said by HD Kumaraswamy that he was not happy with the number of seats his party won. whether deputy CM of Karnataka, G Parameshwara of the Congress avoided the matter and saying a chief minister “has to be always happy”.
however, As per the source, Congress leader Mallikarjuna Kharge asked Kumaraswamy to have the courage to face the situation emerging out of the establishment of the alliance government and, Mr. Kharge said in response to Kumaraswamy’s remarks that “Running a coalition government is always a problem and all one can do is face them,” and he further said that ”Simply expressing would not give a good message to people who supported secular parties. Kumaraswamy should be courageous to face such circumstances. He has to fulfill the desire of the people.”

Apart from this many BJP taunts about an “unholy alliance”, both Congress and Mr. Kumaraswamy had kept up a united front. On Saturday, at a party meeting which was also meant to felicitate him, Mr. Kumaraswamy became emotional.

the Chief Minister of the Karnataka Mr. Kumaraswamy got very emotional and said to his party workers that he was not taking the post “happily”, as he did not receive the whole trust of the people, he further added that “You have come here with bouquets to felicitate me with affection. I am not happy. The pain that I have. I have swallowed that pain like Vishakanta. The question is — I wanted to become of Chief Minister of Karnataka because of the wish of the people — not to enjoy myself as Chief Minister,”


HD Kumaraswamy also said that “I have not become Chief Minister today happily. I have pain. I had placed several issues in front of people during election feeling that they will trust me, but people of the state have not shown trust in me,”
he also said in a statement that, he did not wish to be Chief Minister “to enjoy power but to solve the problems of my people and fulfill the unfinished agenda of my father”. But the people did not give him the majority.
