Hitman Rohit Sharma Tweets About MS Dhoni And It Will Surely Make You Laugh
MS Dhoni on Sunday almost took Chennai Super Kings over the line single handedly against Kings XI Punjab with stiff back. Dhoni smashed 79 from 44 balls to take CSK to the brink of almost unlikeliest of wins.
MS Dhoni turned back the clock and produced one of the most scintillating innings. In his spectacular innings he had hit five sixes and six fours that almost stunned Preity Zinta and Kings XI Punjab fans. Needing 17 runs from the final over CSk fell short by just 4 runs. MS Dhoni ended the game with a six.
Former Indian captain received treatment from the physio after injuring his back and he was in visible pain. He struggled to run between the wickets but it did not stop him from thrashing the Punjab bowlers all over the park.
In the post match presentation ceremony MS Dhoni admitted that Mujeeb Zadran from Afghanistan is the one who changed the game in KXIP’s favour. “Chris’ innings in the first innings and Mujeeb’s bowling made a difference, he said.
Right from Former Cricketers to Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh tweeted about Dhoni’s brilliant knock.
Among all those tweets, Rohit Sharma’s tweet stood out.
He wrote, “Nice hanging thereby @msdhoni nearly pulled it off. 200 not secure as of late is it? Acquired a really feel for it yesterday”
Great striking there by @msdhoni almost pulled it off. 200 not safe these days is it? Got a feel of it yesterday 🤦♂️

CSK lost their first match of this IPL after winning two back to back last over thrillers. CSK will next play Rajasthan Royals on 20th April. CSK have already lost Kedhar Jadhav for the whole tournament, Raina picked up calf problem and he will be out for two games. South Africa skipper Faf Du Plessis is still recovering from finger injury, his teammate Lungi Ngidi had to fly back following the demise of his father.
What’s more bothering the CSK fans is their captain Dhoni’s stiff back. But he assured that he will be ok for the next game
“I don’t know how bad my back is but it should be okay. God has given me enough power so I don’t have to rely on my back a lot. It shouldn’t be so bad. I am used to playing with the injuries. You have to be tough,” MS Dhoni said after the match.
