Hockey Player Gets Slammed For Breastfeeding Her Baby During The Break!

Becoming a mother is a blessing that comes straight from God. Well, the feeling is out of the world and definitely can’t be described in words. A mother can do absolutely anything for her baby and this is once again proved by a hockey player who was seen breastfeeding her baby during the break in her locker room and the picture went viral instantly but not everyone is happy seeing the picture which proves that breastfeeding is still a stigma in the world.

But Serah Small takes full pride in feeding her baby as this is the nature of the world and that’s how a woman’s body works even though many are slamming her online for promoting vulgarity. But what we really don’t understand is what is vulgar in feeding your baby? Sarah Small is an elementary teacher who is also a hockey player in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Sarah returned back to the ground after eight weeks of giving birth to her baby girl, Ellie. She forgot to bring her breast pump but Ellie was hungry. Like any mother, she started to feed her during the break in her locker room but the little girl was not very comfortable with the jersey and she had to remove her jersey to feed her daughter and this mommy-daughter moment was captured by Sarah’s mother.

“Being a mom is absolutely amazing and I’m so happy I got to do something I absolutely love while still meeting my babies needs. Our bodies are amazing and this weekend was the first time I truly appreciated mine.”

To end body shaming, she posted the picture on her Facebook account and she was contacted by Milky Way Lactation Services to promote the picture on their Facebook page and she agreed to the same. The picture went viral and they started slamming the player for posting such pictures on the social media and started accusing her of spreading vulgarity.

But Sarah made it clear that she isn’t going to regret her decision just because breasts are sexualised. She said,

“I have been so scared to post this photo that I absolutely adore. Why? Because society has made breasts sexual,” she told People.

Recently a Malayali model was also slammed for posing for a magazine while breastfeeding. Well, its high time to end this social stigma regarding breastfeeding.
