Unfortunately, we live in the world where millions of homeless too live searching for a better livelihood. Although in very rare circumstances we find a few kind hearted in the aide of the needy to fill the deprived lives of them with joy and happiness. A similar incident too happened in Newyork while it turned out to be epic one with unexpected results. A french lady Karine Gombaeu aged 42 years was on a vacation with her family where she spotted a homeless aged guy searching for the consumable in a garbage at Grand Central Station.

Ascertained with their necessitous instance she made up her mind to helping the poor homeless guy with an extra large pizza she bought for her lunch with her family. Kind hearted soul Karine Gombaeu went up to the man and gave her the extra large pizza to him. Perhaps Karine might have never thought that her kind gesture would win the hearts of millions across the globe for a unique reason.

She assumed a man sifting through the garbage as homeless giving him her leftover pizza, having no idea that he’s actually Hollywood mega-star Richard Gere. It was a few days later she realized that it was Richard Gere when a lady at her hotel gave her the newspaper featuring her giving pizza to him while filming a movie.

Karine said, “I gave my doggy bag to a homeless [man], and the homeless is Richard Gere. He was going through a bin, I had food with me,” she explained. “I thought, ‘He should have my pizza instead of going through that bin.” She stumbled onto the sets of the Richard Gere’s new movie, “Time Out of Mind,” in which he plays a role of homeless man.

She further recalled the incident saying “He was dressed in a way, with a cap, not shaved. He looked like a man going through a rough time. He is a good actor. It’s an amazing experience. It’s crazy. It is a great story. A memory of New York I will keep for a very long time. For a first time in New York, I could not have wished for better.”
