“I Will Break Hands And Legs Of Those Who Slaughter Cows” Says BJP MLA
In the recent bits, enormous communal cases were registered in the Northern part of India. The sequential examination is done and it is far more now believed that the political extremists were the reason behind the happenings.
Though it is well assumed that the BJP was the root cause of this kind of violence. The majoritarian remained silence, as the country’s maximum population, is Hindus. In addition to this, PM Modi’s decision on electing the popular Yogi Adityanath has roped in equal concerns of fascism and goodness for a moment.
Despite these issues, it has been some time since any politician or an individual hasn’t raised any slogans on cow slaughtering and other communal wars. But, this time, here is a video of the speech given by Khatauli’s BJP MLA Vikram Saini in March 2013, that video went viral on social media on Sunday, 26th March 2017, once again roping in the provoking extremism.
In the speech, MLA said:
“I had promised I will break the hands and legs of those who hesitate in chanting VandeMataram, those who feel pain in saying Bharat Mata ki Jai and also those who do not consider cows their mother and kill them.”
After BJP’s grand victory in UP, Yogi advised his party members to stay away from excesses and Saini declared the comments made by the suppressors as “unnecessary controversy”.

When asked about the comments made in the video, Saini responded:
“Mere kehne ka matlab tha ki jo bhi gau hatya karega use police ke hawale karenge. Maine bus gaaon ki bhasha me kaha to logo ne ulta matlab nikala.”
(roughly translated: What I meant was that those who are found slaughtering cows will be handed over to the police. I was just speaking in the local dialect but people took it the other way).”
According to the statistics, over 60 people were killed in the 2013 violence. Even, the state minister Suresh Rana, who was being felicitated at the event where Vikram Saini was speaking, is also an accused in the respective case.
Meanwhile, while addressing the media, the now CM, Yogi stated “Josh mein aake hosh nahi khona chahiye (In your enthusiasm, don’t lose your sensibilities).”
