ISSF Ranks Apurvi Chandela As World Number 1 In Women’s 10m Air Rifle Category
On Wednesday, the ISSF (International Shooting Sport Federation) has ranked Apurvi Chandela as the world number one in Women’s 10m Air Rifle Category, she currently has 1,926 points.
Apurvi was the champion in the 10m Air Rifle Shooting event in the New Delhi Shooting World Cup.
After she was ranked as number one by the ISSF, the shooter tweeted, “World Number 1. Touched a milestone in my shooting career today!!”

Earlier this month, Apurvi reached the final in Beijing, she topped the qualifier rounds with 630.9 points after taking 60 shots, but she finished in the 6th spot.
Apurvi Chandela and Anjum Moudgil are the first Indian Shooters that secured a spot in the 2020 Olympics by winning silver and by finishing in the fourth place in the women’s 10m air rifle ISSF World Championships.
