JEE Main 2019 Registration Begins, Apply Online @ jeemain.nic.in: An examination which is targeted by more than a million Indian Students has captured the headlines with the beginning of September month once again. On 1st September 2018, new JEE Main conducting body, National Testing Agency (NTA) has started accepting JEE Main 2019 Registration Forms on its respective official website www.jeemain.nic.in.JEE Main 2019 Registration

In accordance with PM Modi’s Government, to locate the centres at Sub-district/ district level to reach rural students is a great advantage of National Testing Agency. Besides, it will set to benefit about 40 lakh students, to conduct entrance examinations conducted by the CBSE currently, other examinations to be taken up gradually, to be conducted online at least twice a year, giving adequate opportunity to candidates. 

As per latest reports with Computer Based Test (CBT) as a mode of examination, JEE Main periodicity is twice a year i.e. Joint Entrance Examination Mains test will now be conducted in January and April months. Following regulations of National Testing agency, No changes in eligibility, syllabus, the pattern of question paper and exam fee will be observed. And, scores to be equated using standardisation techniques, an exam will be conducted in multiple settings and candidates must choose any one date out of it.

Five years of relaxation is given from the side of government for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disability (PwD) category candidates. While general and other backward class category candidates must have been born on or after 1st October 1993 to appear in JEE Mains. In minimum qualifying marks (for admission in National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs), Indian Institute of Technical (IITs) and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs)) also there is a reservation for reserved category candidates i.e. 65% marks in aggregate and 75% marks in aggregate for unreserved category candidates.

On the day of the test, in two shifts online test will be conducted for both i.e. BE (Bachelor of Engineering) and BTech (Bachelor of Technology). Second shift examination of JEE Main 2019 will be held from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM and first shift examination will be held from 09:30 AM to 12:30 PM respectively.
