2016 is a year for biopics in Bollywood. India, where people worship cricket, have seen “Azhar” movie which released on the 13th of May, And eagerly waiting for another biopic “Dhoni: The Untold Story”. Dhoni biopic is all set to release on the 30th of September.

Last, but not the least the biopic of “God Of Cricket” – “Sachin: A Billion Dreams” is also scheduled to release this year. The biopic would revolve around his personal and cricket life and would release in around 200 theaters all across the globe. Who Is Playing Sachin Role In Sachin Biopic ?

Any guess from your side about the actor who is going to play the lead role in Master Blasters biopic. Well, this movie doesn’t star any Bollywood actor to essay the role of Sachin! In fact, Sachin Tendulkar himself would be playing the main role. This sounds great, right ?

Sachin Tendulkar is all set to make his acting debut in his own biopic.  Although Tendulkar has acted in many advertisements before, this will be the first time he will take part in a feature film. This film is being made by 200 Not Out, a production company based in Mumbai. Moreover, the director of this movie is James Erskine, who has been a London based award winning producer, director, and writer. The shooting of the movie has already started and many personalities across the world are also contributing to it.

Since this is a journey of Tendulkar from a child prodigy to a cricket god, several fans wanted to know who will enact the role of the legendary batsman from his younger days. It was revealed that Sachin’s son Arjun Tendulkar will feature in the film as a young Tendulkar.

The production company is also in touch with cricket boards across the world to access video footage from the past which will be slotted into the movie. The fans are eagerly waiting to know some untold stories of Sachin’s life. Sachin Biopic teaser will be released on April 14th.
