Lithuanian Man Was The Only Passenger On A Boeing 737 Flight Bound To Italy

A man from Lithuania achieved something that every person dreams of when they book an airplane ticket.

The man had the entire airplane to himself as he traveled to Italy.

The man did not have to worry about kids crying out loud, that annoying uncle that has a loud voice, a mother that is scared to her bones, and that annoying flight stewardess who looks angry all the time.

Looks like the man went to heaven on earth…

When Skirmantas Strimaitis boarded a Boeing 737-800 Aircraft, which is made to carry around 188 passengers, he realized that he was alone and none of the other tickets were sold on the flight bound to Italy.

As a matter of fact, Skirmantas Strimaitis was the only passenger in the plane, there were 5 crew members in the plane, 2 pilots, and him.

Many people wondered how Skirmantas Strimaitis managed to pull out something that is impossible to achieve.

Lithuanian Travel Agent, Novatura, chartered the Boeing 737 flight out to Bergamo, a Northern Italian City, in order to pick up tourists that were on their way back home from their holidays.

So in order to save time, money, and effort, they decided to sell one-way tickets from Lithuania to Italy.

And only one person bought a ticket, our boy Skirmantas Strimaitis.

Skirmantas Strimaitis was on his way to Bergamo to enjoy his skiing holiday all by himself, little did he know that he would be alone in his flight and would have 5 crew members personally serving him.

The flight time between Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania and Bergamo takes more than 2 hours.

When Skirmantas Strimaitis was asked about how the flight was, he said, ‘it was a once in a lifetime experience’.
