If there’s something that scares the shit out of any person, then it’ll be obviously ‘a thick lizard’ either on wall or falling on us. Forget about the kind of man or woman it is definitely irksome to encounter it.

Now, imagine how’d you feel if you’re in a popular food court, about to have your favourite lunch for the day and alas! there’s a deep fried lizard in between the pieces of your food.

This is what had happened in the country’s metro city Kolkata’s McDonald’s outlet near EM ByPass. Priyanka Moitra, a Pregnant woman along with her daughter, when ordered a french fries in McDonald’s encountered a lizard in her daughter’s food.

After looking at the disgusting scene, Moitra quickly approached the respective authorities and the response she got in her words is:

“When I told the outlet manager about the incident, he showed a careless attitude and left with just a sorry.”

Annoyed Moitra, didn’t take too much time to swing on the issue, she immediately then took a picture of the deep-fried lizard in the food and filed a FIR at the Phulbagan police station, which is nearest to that McDonald’s court.

“I’m shocked! I’m concerned about my family’s health. My wife is pregnant. How can McDonald’s be so careless? As soon as I heard about the incident, I contacted Delhi and Kolkata’s McDonald’s office, but they didn’t bother. There’s been no apology, they just want us to send it to them for analysis”, said her husband Sanjay Moitra who is in Lucknow at that moment.

On the other hand, a McDonald’s official named Raja Mani from Delhi was quoted saying:

“A customer allegedly found a foreign body in their food. We take all reports of this nature very seriously and investigate them thoroughly.”
