Madhya Pradesh Government will fund for Treatment and education Of Satna Rape Victim
Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chauhan came in support of four-year-old Satna rape victim. On Thursday it has been announced by the CM Shivraj Singh that his government will fund the treatment and education of the rape victim.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan said in a statement that, “I met Satna rape victim who is currently admitted in AIIMS. I spoke to the doctors today and they said that she is recovering. We will take care of the expenditure on her health and education.”
Beside this, CM of MP state strongly condemned the incident in Mandsaur, where an eight-year-old girl was allegedly raped, and accused kidnaped the minor girl from outside her school and CM Mr. Chauhan said that rapists were “burden on the earth” and do not deserve to live. To recall, On 1st July four-year-old girl had been raped in the Satna district of the Madhya Pradesh and the next day of this brutal incident a case had been filed against accused while the accused had been arrested on 2nd July.
Due to increasing number of rapes in Madhya Pradesh, the state government was pretty much beware about this and MP Assembly unanimously, recently, passed a bill, according to which people accused in cases of rape and gangrape of girls below 12 years will be sentenced to death.
In Madhya Pradesh’s Rehli, an incident has happened where a rape of a nine-year-old girl took place, in this case, accused had been sentenced to death within 46 days after the Union Cabinet agreed on an ordinance allowing courts to articulate the death penalty for those who are involved in rape cases of children below the age of 12.
