Man Removed From His Job And Deported From UAE After Celebrating The Terrorist Attack In New Zealand
A man was removed from his job in Dubai and was deported after he commented on a Facebook post and celebrated the terrorist attack in New Zealand.
On March 15, 50 people were killed in the Christchurch terrorist attack, the shooter hit 2 mosques in the area, more than 30 people attained injuries from the attack.
Australian National, 28-year-old Brenton Tarrant open fired in 2 mosques.
Greg Ward, the Managing Director Of the Transguard Group said, “Over the weekend, a Transguard employee made inflammatory comments on his personal Facebook account celebrating the deplorable mosque attack in Christchurch, New Zealand. This prompted an internal investigation, which uncovered the fact that the individual in question had been posting his views on social media under an assumed name.”
“We have a zero-tolerance policy for the inappropriate use of social media, and as a result, this individual was immediately terminated and turned over to the authorities to face justice.”
After the company verified the identity of the person, he was held by the Transguard and was removed from the company. The man was handed over to the UAE officials as per the company policy and the UAE Cybercrime Law Number 5 of 2012.
The man has been deported from Dubai by the UAE Government.
