After the tiresome waiting of 17 years, this Indian woman has finally bagged the Miss World title and this certainly is a landmark achievement for India in 2017. The 20-Year-Old Haryanvi woman Manisha Chhillar has taken the mainstream media by storm by winning the prestigious and pivotal title all the way.

She has become the center of the spotlight within a fortnight. She undeniably is the topic of discussion in the whole country. She became the sixth woman from India. India won the title last in the year 2000 when Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra made a mark at the event.

This time, the event was held at Sanya City Arena, in China. Manushi was crowned by Stephanie Del Valle, Miss World 2016 from Puerto Rico. Manushi competed against 118 contestants who represented their nations.

Coming to the next steps of Manushi, she has already confirmed that she doesn’t want to step into Bollywood soon enough. But, she clearly has a name in her mind to collaborate with if she ever makes a foray into the film industry. The 21-year-old beauty pageant winner revealed she wants to work with “perfectionist” Aamir Khan if she ever made a decision to enter the film industry.

Nobody knew her until she won Miss World 2017 crown and now she is queen to billions of people. In an exclusive interview with Business Of Cinema.com, Manushi Chhillar talked about how it feels after winning the crown. Earlier this year, she won the Femina Miss India 2017, also shared that she realized about winning the crown only after returning back to India.

Manushi says, “I always say that you never know how life unfolds. At the same time, I’m very curious kid and have tried so much…I have not only been trained in Kuchipudi dance but also in different forms of dance as well. I was so much involved in everything that eventually helped me out. I love being on the stage but when it came to education, I knew I wanted to study medicine. I always knew I wanted to learn more.”

Manushi Chhillar speaks about the thoughts that she was going through minutes before she was crowned. Manushi also has an amazing message for all the girls out there who are chasing their dreams.
